Pro-Life Prayers

Prayer Against the Forces of Anti-Life

O Great Wonder-Worker of our day, St. Gerard, powerful protector of the mother and her unborn child, beg God we beseech thee, to crush the mounting forces of anti-life; and to enlighten those who walk in this deadly way, that they may see the enormity of their sin and return to the generous observance of the Divine Law. Pray too, for mothers that they may prize the great privilege of motherhood, and that they may bring up their children in the holy love and fear of God; so that saving their own immortal souls they may further the honor and glory of their Maker; through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

V. Pray for us, O Great St. Gerard!

R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ!

Let us pray.
O Almighty and Eternal Father, Who in Thy all-wise Providence, hast deigned to raise up St. Gerard to be the glorious protector of the mother and her unborn child, grant, we beseech Thee, through the powerful intercession of this, Thy servant, that all the diabolical forces of anti-life may be destroyed from the face of the earth forever; that so the Christian family may once more flourish to the praise and eternal glory of thy Holy Name. This we ask through the merits of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee and the Holy Ghost, God for ever and ever. Amen.

Pro-Life Prayer

O God of all Goodness, who hast bestowed upon us the priceless gift of life, make us to cherish this gift from the first moment of conception until the last breath of death. Send Thy strength to all who defend the unborn, the weak, and the dying against every assault of the unfeeling foe. May the Holy Ghost protect against Satan's wiles those whom the devil tempts towards the way of death rather than of life. May modesty, purity, a spirit of prayer and the keeping of Thy Commandments, without which our Pro-Life movement becomes but vain words, adorn each one of us, and shine in our families, and before men, a sign of Thy love, and a pledge of victory. Amen.
