A note on the Synod on Synodality

Written by Father William Jenkins

While some traditional Catholics are aware that Francis has just concluded his “Synod on Synodality” in the Vatican, many do not understand the significance of that event. Francis is consummating his apostasy by bringing to evil fruition his plan and his pledge to produce a new church, his “synodal” church, which replaces faith in Divine Revelation with faith by consensus. It is exactly the false concept of faith which Saint Pius X condemned as Modernism, the “synthesis of all heresies,” in his encyclical Pascendi of September 8, 1907. At the very outset of his term as Pope of the New Order, Francis declared his intention to replace the Catholic Church with a church directed by ongoing surveys and meetings. For the Modernist, faith arises from experiencing “the Divine,” with the people discerning how they are experiencing God now, that is, how God is revealing Himself to them now. And since people’s experiences are constantly changing, so must our understanding of God be constantly changing. That is the essence of Modernism and the essence of Francis’ synodal church, synodal religion and synodal faith. The modernist idea of faith is the opposite of Catholic Faith. It is literally the anti-faith.
